New Brisbane Air New Zealand Lounge 

Air New Zealand has opened its new lounge at Brisbane International Airport. The new facility can cater to up 200 guests and features a cafe area, self service food and beverage stations, business tables, quiet nooks and a family space with a children's play area.

ibis Styles Brisbane open 

The new 368 room ibis Styles Brisbane is now open. The new build hotel features a restaurant, bar, range of meeting spaces and is located in the heart of Brisbane's CBD on Elizabeth Street.

Canada offers eTA leniency 

Canadian border officials are offering a short grace period to visitors arriving in Canada without an electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA). The new system is now in effect but officials are allowing leniency to visitors who are not otherwise inadmissible until the end of September.

Ibis launches conferencing options

Ibis has launched a brand new meetings and conferences concept in the UK. The new MICE concept SPACE by ibis will simplify the process of booking rooms for conferencing and is available at 20 locations. All spaces offer free Wi-Fi, unlimited tea and Nespresso and AV support.

Delta plans new Beijing route 

Delta Air Lines will introduce a new daily non-stop service between Los Angeles and Beijing. The new route will operate on B777-200ER aircraft from 16 December, pending regulatory approval.

QantasLink cuts back Armidale

QantasLink is reducing its Armidale-Sydney service. The carrier is axing QF2024/ QF2025 flights in the middle of the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 26 April 2016.

InterContinental O2 opens 

InterContinental London – The O2 has officially opened. The 453-room hotel is located on the Greenwich Peninsula and features seven dining venues a spa, gym and meeting and event space catering for up to 3000 guests.
